Shared with me by Joshua, I found Mystical America, a sweet and inspired album full of quiet contemplations, lush vistas and tributes to some of the most ancient cultures in the world. Laura's reverent and powerful music shows us how all these ancient cultures have graced our own country in mysterious and unforgettable ways.
Favorite Tracks Include: Written as a fitting tribute to the ancient people now known as the Anasazi of New Mexico, the warm musical embrace of (2) Chaco Canyon: Into the Womb, creates a mood of quiet contemplation and of almost coming home. Get swept away by daydreams as you float lazily along the Cottonwood River in the softly flowing (7) Red Rock Ridge Petroglyphs: Dream Quest. Then enjoy the quiet yet brooding drama of (11) Hawaiian Islands: Born of Fire which brings to mind the danger beneath even the most serene of exteriors.
Undoubtedly you will find Mystical America a great choice for cooking or dining with friends, doing bookwork, painting, crafting, for doing therapeutic massage or similar hands on work. Run out and get a copy and let the beautiful piano music of Laura Sullivan take the anxiety out of some of life's most stressful activities and musically soothe away your most persistent troubles.
