I know it's not right to judge a book, or an album for that matter, by it's cover... but when I opened the package containing our first submission for this quarter, I just knew that "Horse Dreams" was going to be different, something spectacular!

When I walked out of the post office with the album in hand, I popped the CD in my car stereo (not the best by any means), but I was just floored by ( 1 ) Dance of the Unicorn; it painted such a vivid picture of the mythical animal... just breathtaking.

The entire album is just awe-inspiring, but if you twisted my arm I would have to select the following as my favorite tracks:
( 2 ) Pegasus Flight, ( 4 ) Arabians in the Desert, ( 6 ) Asian Moon Mare, with ( 10 ) Violet Spirit that made me think that this music would fit perfectly into one of the Final Fantasy role playing games...

After a few days of listening to the album, I just had to share it with one of the teachers I work with. She is the head of the business department, and teaches most of her classes in the main computer lab, where she plays a lot of relaxing music (which by the way the students typically enjoy). "Horse Dreams" was an instant hit with her... but also with her students! I was really surprised to see students walking up and asking what was playing.

I was assisting in the Web Design class, and ( 2 ) "Pegasus Flight" was playing, and after it finished, one of the kids said: "Play Asian Moon Mare, it's track number 6!" It was at that moment that I knew that the class was really enjoying it. I was somewhat shocked that, that particular student knew the track number... but wasn't surprised that he picked one of my favorite tracks.

William Paul did right by selecting the cover art "Violet Spirit" by artist Marti Adrian. The artwork inspired track number
( 10 ) Violet Spirit, and the music paints a picture that is just as beautiful as Marti Adrian's work.

"Horse Dreams" is a masterful tribute to horses, that will touch your soul, and take you on some exciting adventures. I'm honored to be able to bestow Streams-of-Time's most prestigious honor of 5 out of 5 Top Pick! to "Horse Dreams" This album has easily made a home in my most revered music collection!
